| Leonard, a gentle and compassionate individual, always had a talent for singing, and he would sing as he helped his impovershed parents with their farm in Juno's wastelands. At 17 he left with his parents' blessing to find his own life, and upon learning of and meeting bards he decided to become one himself. He gave himself the nickname Ace of Hearts, because it sounded cool to him. |

A somewhat shy but ravishingly beautiful woman, who keeps her face hidden behind steel helmets to avoid the irritating amounts of male attention she recieves otherwise. Her parents and one of her sisters killed in an invasion of her hometown Prontera by monsters, she finds herself the sole caretaker of her surviving younger sister Contessa. Such has allowed her to partially overcome her naturally timid personality, being a strong defender of what's left of her family and a member of Prontera's order of crusaders. She harbors a heavy crush on James for years, which develops into love, an eventual relationship, and marriage. |

| An orphan elf found as an infant by a human family in Payon over 200 years ago. Though she has greatly surpassed the lifespan of the couple that found her, named her, and raised her with their own children, she thinks of herself as being both elf and human and is no less a member of their family than she ever was. She can come off as aloof, though is quietly kind to those she knows. Her hunting falcon Victor serves as her set of eyes, as Catalina herself has been blind since birth. |

James Louis Knight is a tall, thin priestly man with messy brown hair that refuses to look properly groomed. Quiet, steadfast and just a bit nervous, a friend and colleage accurately describes him as a "worried mother hen always fussing over her chicks" due to his habit of constantly trying to help (and usually bothering) the church's followers he finds himself involved with. He earned his nickname "Father Ice Cream Truck" by sometimes buying ice cream for the children who don't find his height intimidating and decide to pester him. He eventually marries Cassandra Knight and takes her last name as his own, hoping to rid himself of the reputation for coldness and bigotry his father perpetuated. |

| A nameless orphan off the streets of Morroc, he finds himself a thief and rogue by necessity rather than choice. Quite built and rather intimidating by appearances, his personality is actually rather mild; he tends to dislike starting fights that don't need to be started, though his great strength allows him to be excessively capable of finishing them. He also has a great appreciation and talent for art, though this is only expressed in his vandalism of guild flags that bear "unacceptably tasteless or lewd" emblems. Panther's name was something he picked up along his life; whatever took his parents left him too young to remember his real name. |
